Thunder Mountain

First Thunder Mountain ride of the year. Weather was perfect and the trail was in great early season shape.  Minus cowboys getting their hineys in a rush to come out and ride it when it was still damp and left some pretty gnarly potholes on most of the climbs. Went out the night before to Red Canyon and did some night shots and they turned out pretty good for my first attempt. Think there will be more of those in the future. Amazing though to see how much better shape/rider I am now. I can remember back in the day struggling to get up most the climbs on Thunder Mountain. Now I don't have to stop on top of most of them to catch my breath. I felt great this time and didn't have that urge to stop like I use too. Awesome trail though, nothing else like it. Not many places can you ride through hoodoo's. Near the beginning of the trail we found a downed tree that had been cut up but looked very promising. Stacked some logs to get up it and made a small log ride. :)
