Camp Sydney

There's a place high in the mountains that I know of, where the afternoons are still quite pleasant mid summer.  A special place where you can ditch the heat and camp up by the trees. Creeks flow with cutthroat trout, and Singletrack starts from your tent. A place they call Sydney Valley.

With St. George pushing 100 by noon any excuse to get outta town is a good excuse. Besides the possibilities of all the trails to go ride up on Cedar Mountain, my father in law got a new pop up trailer and we needed to demo it out. Stuffed our belongings and family into the car, lubed the chain, and got the heck outta dodge. Set up camp just before sundown. Got some Coals going for dinner, and stuffed our faces.

If your not familiar with hobos dinners. I'm sorry, their the shit. Bacon, hamburger, potatoes, and veggies wrapped in tinfoil stuck on the coals. Bacon makes any thing better. Yeah, dang goods. Dessert was also served.

Spent the rest of the night telling stories by the fire.

Not bad for a morning view, eh?

Let the dogs play...

Enjoyed the finer things in life...

Did some fishing...

O yeah, Then we shredded...

Met up with Fixie Dave and layed down some miles...

Life is good...
