LC

I've fallin in love with evening mesa rides. Slowly I'm trading the 15 minute drive to local spot here in St. George to the hour drive out either Gooseberry or Little Creek. I've actually been out on the mesas four times in the last month. This is out of the ordinary for me. My usual count for either trail for the year can be counted on one hand. It's sad but true. I have been taking these places for granted for far too long. The round trip of two hours in the car is well worth the trade off one can receive spending some time out there.

Unlike Gooseberry I've only been out on LC a handful of times. While the singletrack sections of the big loop are easy to remember, the point loop is taxing on my memory. Not sure if the random stacks of rock carns on endless dizzying sections of slickrock are to blame or starring at the riders back tire in front of me is causing me to not pay enough attention to where we are going. I know Ill eventually follow the markers to someplace familiar. What bothers me is a lot of this place looks the same.

QLukasFixieCory, and I headed out last Sunday evening for a few hours is some rather stellar weather and light on the LC.
