Cedar mountain time

Yes it's that time of the year again. It's so hot down here in St. George I saw two trees fighting over a dog.... Yeah it's hot. Time to travel north where the trees are and the shaded singletrack awaits. However, its been an odd year and snow still hides in shady coverings on some of the higher trails and if there isn't snow there is a whole forest of downed trees due to excessive snow fall. So the only trail we could poach over the 4th of July holiday was Navajo Lake Loop. Yes, the grass was green, the flowers were out and the trail was killer. So nice to get out and ride with a half full camelbak and only take a few sips over 11 miles. I don't even think I broke a sweat. The trail did the body good. Can't wait till next weekend.
